Wilten is one of Innsbruck’s most characterful districts and the Street Galerie has added a modern creative layer to its historic streets. The project was designed to bring local and regional artists into public space and turn everyday paths into an outdoor gallery. Walls, underpasses and quiet corners now show contemporary works that change the feeling of the neighbourhood and create a cultural experience that is free and open to everyone.
The artworks vary in style and technique. Some are large colourful murals, others are detailed illustrations or graphic designs. Together they tell stories from Innsbruck and Tyrol, reflect personal themes of the artists and highlight the diversity of the local creative scene. The Street Galerie invites visitors to walk slowly, look closely and discover something new at every corner.
The following artists contribute to the Street Galerie. Each brings a different visual language that forms the overall identity of the project.

Their works include portrait based pieces, abstract forms, nature inspired illustrations and urban graphic elements. Many murals respond directly to their surroundings which makes the Street Galerie a living part of the district.
The Street Galerie Wilten is not a closed exhibition. It changes over time as new works appear and older ones fade or are replaced. This creates a sense of movement and constant renewal. The project also encourages interaction with public space. Visitors can follow the artworks on foot, discover side streets and get a sense of the neighbourhood beyond the main routes.
For Innsbruck, the Street Galerie adds cultural depth to one of its most vibrant districts. It supports local artists, activates public space and shows that art does not need a museum setting to be meaningful.
The Street Galerie Wilten is an ideal way to explore Innsbruck from a different perspective. It highlights creativity in everyday surroundings and brings together art, urban life and community. Whether you live in Innsbruck or are visiting for the first time, walking through Wilten with open eyes reveals a district full of colour and expression.
